What we collect: We collect your name and contact information in connection with your Corporate Membership or creation of an account. When you purchase a Corporate Membership, in addition to the above, we collect your billing information. Your payment card information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and is not stored locally by Nector. We also collect data on the actions that you perform while logged in.Primary purpose: We use this data to provide account related functionalities to users and to perform our contract to provide services.
What we collect: We collect the name and contact information of our clients and their employees with whom we may interact.Primary purpose: We use this data to contact our clients and communicate with them about business activities such as projects, services, and billing.
What we collect: We collect personal data, such as your age or your region.Primary purpose: We use this data to understand our users and potential customers better.
What we collect: During onboarding, we collect self-reported financial-profile information, including marital status; household type and dependents; home ownership; income range; credit score range; insurance types (type only, including whether you have health insurance); investments; and tax refund range. You may also choose to provide optional "better matches" information, including credit card balance, student loans, auto or personal debt, back taxes owed, savings, and monthly budget. We collect and share these optional fields only if you choose to provide them.Primary purpose: We use this information to match you with appropriate providers.
What we collect: Our apps collect your location from the GPS, Wi-Fi, and/or cellular technology in your device. We reverse-geocode precise coordinates to derive a ZIP code, and we retain the derived ZIP code rather than raw GPS coordinates.Primary purpose: We use this data to understand our users and provide tailored services. In some contexts, our use is also based upon your consent to share location data.
What we collect: If you receive email from us, we use tools to capture when you open our message, click on links or banners in it, or make purchases after receiving an email.Primary purpose: We use this data to understand how you engage with our messages.
What we collect: If you provide feedback or contact us for support, we collect your name and email, as well as other content that you send.Primary purpose: We use this data to receive and act upon feedback.
What we collect: If you apply for a job, we collect information needed to process your application, including information you provide in your application and during the hiring process.Primary purpose: In some contexts, we are required by law to collect data about applicants. We use this data to evaluate your application or consider you for other positions.
What we collect: When you sign up for our mailing lists, we collect your contact information.Primary purpose: We use this data to share information about our services.

For instance, if you purchase a Corporate Membership, we may collect your information to perform our contract with you. We also maintain that data so that we can easily address questions about your Corporate Membership.How We Share DataIn addition to the specific situations discussed elsewhere in this Notice we may share personal data in the following situations:Consumer-Selected Business Matches. When you express interest in a business (a “Partner”), the financial profile you have provided, including any optional details you choose to provide, will be shared with that Partner. We share it with each Partner you expressed interest in so that each Partner can decide whether to accept you as a client.
Business and Provider Assessments. Businesses and providers may record reviews or assessments about consumers with whom they interact, including ratings and comments. Nector maintains this information for internal purposes. Consumers do not currently see these reviews or assessments, and they do not currently influence matching.
How We Protect and Retain DataNo method of internet transmission or electronic storage is fully secure. While we use reasonable efforts to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee its security. If we are required by law to inform you of a breach to your personal data, we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law. Some of our websites and apps permit you to create an account. You are responsible for selecting a unique and complex password and keeping it confidential. You are responsible for any access to or use of your account by someone who has obtained your password, whether or not you approved of such access or use. Notify us of unauthorized use of your password or account immediately.For personal information shared with iGrad, our agreement requires iGrad to encrypt the information in transit and at rest, maintain appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, notify Nector without undue delay and within 48 hours after becoming aware of an actual or reasonably suspected security incident (including a data breach), and require its subcontractors and service providers to provide protections at least as protective as those in the agreement. iGrad’s third-party data-storage provider also conducts an annual SOC 2 Type II audit of each location used to store personal information. Within 30 days after termination of the agreement or Nector’s request, iGrad must return or securely delete the personal information, subject to legally required retention.We keep your personal data for only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes in this Notice, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the data, the purposes for which we obtained the data and whether we can meet those purposes through other means, as well as applicable legal requirements.Third-Party Applications/WebsitesWe may provide links to websites and other third-party content or services that we do not own or operate. We have no control over the privacy practices of websites or services we do not own.
